DjMirror Pulse is DJ software for performers who run an LED wall or a DMX lighting rig. It listens to your mix in real time, reads the BPM, key, and song structure, and drives your visuals and lights automatically. One laptop, one app, no VJ needed.
Meet the founders: Jorge Hontoria & Carlos Zamorano
Jorge and Carlos started DjMirror Pulse to solve a problem they kept running into: running visuals and DMX from the DJ booth meant two laptops, two software licences, and a lot of things that could go wrong mid-set.
Jorge Hontoria (Co-Founder & Tech Architect)
Jorge Hontoria is the software architect behind DjMirror Pulse. He built the audio analysis engine, the DMX automation layer, and most of the core infrastructure. When something technically unusual comes up in support, it usually lands with Jorge.
Carlos Zamorano (Co-Founder & Creative Director)
Carlos Zamorano runs the commercial side. He’s been in audiovisual production for over twenty years and is also the one who goes to DJ gigs to watch what actually happens when you try to control lights while mixing. That real-world perspective shapes how DjMirror Pulse works in practice. More on how the LED screen side works here.
